About Us

The Cooper Family moved onto the 40 Acre parcel in 2021.  Originally from Portland and Eugene, they took to the Tumalo community after some time in Bend city limits.  The opportunity to learn how to be ranchers, hay growers, fencing experts, manure moveres, irrigation managers and barn builders has provided much more than a living experience.  We wander down new paths every day!  

R&R Ranch is space to combine music, equine and people. We appreciate reflective solitude amongst the herd, or a party with musicians and friends singing aloud; all while enjoying the beautiful Cascades as backdrop.

Rhythm and Reins offers horse boarding and private event space as a way to share in the community’s joys and celebrations. The Barn provides comfort and care for your equine companion, as well as clean, intentional space for gatherings. The Saloon adds a rustic and authentic vibe to your experience, as well as the covered porch, outdoor space, fire pit, propane heaters and rocking chairs overlooking the pasture and mountains.
